Zero waste pattern – Sleeveless waistcoat by Stefanie Kroth
Sew a sustainable, modern waistcoat without fabric waste! This zero-waste pattern allows for optimal fabric utilisation and comes in two sizes. Perfect for fabrics such as linen, denim or woollen fabrics.
This sleeveless vest has one inside as well as two outside pockets. The neckline is finished with rib knit which makes it nice and cosy. You could also bind the neckline with bias tape. We have bound the zip and hem edges with bias tape to give the vest a more polished look. If you prefer to just finish the raw edges instead, then there is no need to purchase any bias tape.

Zero waste in sewing: We should make the best possible use of fabric as a valuable resource and ideally manage without waste. This works with a slightly different cut, clever design ideas and a sporty laying technique.
What is special about the zero waste design process?
The design process involves the fabric much more and the design and pattern are closely interlinked from the very beginning. I often make paper models, drape them on the mannequin or on the 3D avatar.
